- Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: The Penguins announce that defenseman Olli Maatta is out week-to-week with a undisclosed injury. All coach Mike Sullivan would say is that it’s “lower-body.” Nick Bonino is questionable for today with an undisclosed injury that he suffered at practice. GM Jim Rutherford said that Bonino will be evaluated this morning.
On the Anaheim Ducks …
- Eric Stephens of the OC Register: Chris Stewart has been out for six weeks with a fractured jaw, could be ready to return to the lineup. Defenseman Sami Vatanen (head) isn’t ready yet and Kevin Bieksa (upper-body) is questionable. Ryan Kesler is still out for personal reasons.

- Curtis Pashelka: Joonas Donskoi’s injury is not thought to be serious. A lower-body muscular thing. He’s questionable for today.
