The 2017 NHL draft is set for Friday June 23rd and Saturday June 24th, and will be held at that United Center in Chicago.
It will be the first time in the history of the draft that it will be held in Chicago.
To date only 2017 first round pick has been traded yet, but more could be on the move by the trade deadline on March 1st.
Last year five first round picks were traded before the draft, either before the trade deadline, or before the first round was underway.
There were four trades made draft day involving first round picks – teams moving up to select a targeted player.
The 2017 NHL draft isn’t expected to be as deep as in past years, so there could be some teams willing to make trades involving first round picks.
Here is a look of each teams 2017 NHL draft picks to date.
