Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: The St. Louis Blues and Colton Parayko agreed to a five-year, $27.5 million contract today. The deal carries a $5.5 million salary cap hit.
They were scheduled to have a salary arbitration hearing today. Parayko had asked for $4.85 million in arbitration, with the Blues offering $3.4 million and $3.6 million on a two-year deal.
Parayko and Alex Pietrangelo are the only defensemen the Blues have signed after the 2018-10 season.
