Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Forward Alex Steen could join the Blues at some point on their four-game road trip. Defenseman Jay Bouwmeester is also close to returning. It doesn’t mean they’ll play though.
“Neither guy is gonna come with us initially on the trip,” coach Mike Yeo said Sunday. “And I don’t anticipate that ‘Bo’ would be joining us. But there’s a possibility that Steener could be joining us on the trip to start skating. But that’s just depending on how he feels here in the next few days.
“So they’re both progressing but I wouldn’t expect either of them to be playing in any of these games on the road trip.”
