No talks between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Scott Laughton yet
The Fourth Period: David Pagnotta reported on Monday that the Toronto Maple Leafs need to find a way to keep pending UFA forward Scott Laughton, but there haven’t been any meaningful talks between the two sides as of yet.
“They have not had any meaningful discussions or negotiations with respect to an extension,” Pagnotta said. “I think there’s an understanding that they would like to have those discussions. He’s already proven to be a glue guy in the room … but they haven’t had those in-depth contract discussions yet with his camp.”
