Mollie Walker: New York Rangers forward Vincent Trocheck said that he’d like to go to a team that is not in the same situation as the Rangers are in, adding that he’s 32 years old and would like to win a Stanley Cup.
Trocheck on the reports that he prefers to stay in the East:
“I’m sure you’re relating to the ‘I don’t want to be out West’ talk on Instagram or Twitter or whatever. And, yeah, it’s not a secret. They are on my no-trade cause, family is important to me, and my family is on the East Coast.”
A Tyler Myers resolution is drawing near

Friedman: “Before you even ask me, there is still no resolution on Myers. There’s, everybody hoped that it would be morning. Now, now I’m hearing like next 24 to 48 hours. So we’ll see what happens there.
Taylor: “Detroit, Dallas. Are you hearing those same teams, Elliotte, that Rick’s hearing?
Friedman: “I think the, yeah, I think so. But the last I’ve heard, the only team that had actually made an offer, a physical offer, was Detroit. That was when I last really looked into that, on Saturday night.
And it’s possible things have changed. But I haven’t got any official confirmation that any other teams have made an offer. I think if somebody had that, Myers was interested in this, we’d know already.”
