NHL Injury notes
Lia Assimakopoulos: Dallas Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said that forward Roope Hintz didn’t travel with the team and is out for Game 3 and “very doubtful” for Game 4. They are hopeful that he’ll be ready for Game 5 when they return home.
Sam Nestler: Stars forward Nathan Bastian travelled with the team to Minnesota so that he can start skating with them. He’s still a ways away and wouldn’t be ready until late in round 2 if they make it that far.
Mark Spector: Edmonton Oilers forward Adam Henrique will be out for at least one game, according to coach Kris Knoblach: “(Henrique) will be unavailable tomorrow, and we’re not sure how long, but he will not be available.”
Michael Russo: Minnesota Wild coach Jon Hynes didn’t have an update on forwards Mats Zuccarello and Yakov Trenin. They hope to know more today.
- Joe Smith: Hynes would only say that Zuccarello and Trenin have upper-body injuries. They’ll see how Zuccarello feels today for Game 3 tonight.
