Bruins trade Marco Sturm to the LA Kings

Bob McKenzie via twitter: Sturm waived NTC to go to LAK and thought he was on his way but fact he is still injured complicated matters. Stay tuned. No timeline.

TSN: The Boston Bruins have traded winger Marco Sturm to the Los Angeles Kings, Bob McKenzie is hearing for a conditional draft pick. Jimmy Murphy reports that the conditional pick is a 5th rounder, and can go up depending on games and points. Sturm had to waive his no-trade clause.

Sturm is still a couple weeks away from returning after having off-season ACL and MCL surgery. He carries a $3.5 million cap hit.
