Devils trade Tallinder back to Buffalo

The New Jersey Devils have traded defenseman Henrik Tallinder to the Buffalo Sabres for left winger Riley Boychuk.

Tallinder was originally drafted by the Sabres, 48th overall in the second round of the 1997 draft. He carries a $3,375,000 salary cap hit.

Boychuk was drafted 208th in the seventh round of the 2010 draft by the Sabres.
