The Edmonton Oilers have traded defenseman Justin Schultz to the Pittsburgh Penguins for a 3rd round pick.
Pierre LeBrun: The Oilers will be retaining 50 percent of Schultz’s salary.
The 25-year old Schultz was drafted 43rd overall in the 2nd round of the 2008 draft by the Ducks. He carries a $3.9 million cap hit.
