Flames acquire Galiardi from the Sharks for a pick

The San Jose Sharks have traded forward T.J. Galiardi to the Calgary Flames for a 2014 4th round pick.

Galiardi was drafted by the Avalanche, 55th overall in the second round of the 2007 draft. He had a cap hit of $950,000 last year.

David Pollak: “Tomas Hertl and Tyler Kennedy also make this move possible — and probably signal that #SJSharks want to start season with Burns at forward.”

Josh Rimer: The Flames have re-signed Galiardi to a one year deal worth $1.25 million.
