  • Joe Yerdon: The Capitals have signed Brandon Segal to a one-year, two-way deal.
  • Michael Smith: The Hurricanes have signed Zach Boychuk to a one-year, two-way, $550,000 deal. He’ll get $105,000 in the AHL.
  • David Pagnotta: The Blues have signed Christian Hanson to a two-way contract.
  • Dobber Hockey: Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Lablond signed with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
  • Anaheim Ducks: Ducks defenseman Sheldon Souray tore a ligament in his right wrist on July 17th. He had surgery on July 25th and will be out four-six months from the surgery date. James Mirtle: It was Souray’s first surgery on his right wrist. He’s had five surgeries on his left wrist. Eric Stephens: Souray and his $3,666,667 salary cap hit will go on the LTIR. He was hurt throwing a 40 pound medicine ball during a workout. He immediately heard and felt a pop in his wrist.
