- Larry Brooks via twitter: Rangers defenseman Marc Staal will be examined by a concussion specialist next week. Back on October 16th when Staal visited Dr. Cantu, he was ordered to shut it down for 1 month. For the last 3 weeks Staal has been resting at his apartment.
- Katie Carrera of the Washington Post: Capitals defenseman Mike Green is questionable for tonight. “I’m getting better each day. Finally, I think I’m getting close,” Green said. “We’ll see what the docs say and and we’ll go from there.”
