- Katie Strang: Rangers Ryan Callahan said there is a “slim chance” the he could be ready for the start of the season, but he isn’t ruling it out.
- Eric Stephens: Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau said that Nick Bonino was fine after taking a puck to the mouth yesterday morning. He didn’t lose any teeth.
- David Alter: Maple Leafs Frazer McLaren may have a broken pinky finger.
- Chip Alexander: Jiri Tlusty will be out another couple days after being ‘woozy’ after taking a hit in Friday’s scrimmage.
- John Hoven: Kings Dustin Brown is still out with a hamstring issue.
