  • Katie Carrera of the Washington Post: Capitals center Jason Arnott is said to be week-to-week according to Mike Vogl. Nicklas Backstrom (fractured thumb), Tom Poti (groin) and Semyon Varlamov (knee) are travellling with the team.
  • Adrian Dater of the Denver Post: Avalanche John-Michael Liles and Paul Stastny are probable for tomorrow’s game against the Canucks. “We’ll see how they do at the morning skate, but it’s likely they’ll be in,” coach Joe Sacco. Liles has missed 2 games with a leg injury, Stastny has missed 1 with a back injury. Milan Hejduk will not play, but is with the team for their 3 game road trip. Brian Elliot will be in net for the Avs tomorrow.
