Helene St. James: Red Wings Niklas Kronwall took a puck to the chin at the morning skate, but he’s expected to be in the lineup tonight.
Tom Gulitti: Devils Patrick Elias skated by himself today. GM Lou Lamoriello said they’ll see how he feels after the morning skate tomorrow to see if he’ll play.
Sam Carchidi: Flyers Scott Hartnell is getting closer to returning. Coach Craig Berube made it sound like Vinny Lecavalier will play Thursday and that Hartnell is doubtful.
