  • David Alter: Leafs Joffrey Lupul had off-ice workouts yesterday and is still day-to-day. He won’t play in New York.
  • Helene St. James: Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said that Darren Helm won’t play again this season.
  • Mark Stepneski: Stars Lane MacDermid is out another week with a “chest bruise.”
  • Rich Chere: Ilya Kovalchuk said it’s going to take a few more days.
  • Elliott Pap: Canucks winger Chris Higgins‘ lower-body injury is believed to be a sprained a knee.
  • Renaud Lavoie: Senators Erik Karlsson should be able to return to the Senators lineup in 3 to 4 weeks if all rehab goes well.
  • Pat Hickey of the Montreal Gazette: Davis Drewiske will replace Alexei Emelin along side Andrei Markov. Josh Gorges and P.K. Subban will remain together. Francis Bouillon will be paired with Nathan Beaulieu. Rene Bourque is ready to return after missing 21 games with a concussion.
