- Joe Haggerty: Bruins Dennis Seidenberg will be out tonight with a lower-body injury.
- Scott Powers of ESPN: Blackhawks Corey Crawford is close to returning to practice after being out for three weeks with a lower-body injury.
“Real good progress,” Quenneville said of Crawford after Friday’s morning skate. “Felt good today and had a much intense workout than he had last times on the ice. Over the next couple, three days, get him more with the guys as we go along here. We like the progress. He feels much better.”
There is no update on Nikolai Khabibulin’s injury. He’s been out since Nov. 16th.
