- Elliott Pap of the Vancouver Sun: Canucks Dan Hamhuis and David Booth are day-to-day with groin strains. Winger Zach Kassian didn’t skate yesterday due to back spasms, and is day-to-day. GM Mike Gillis suggests that Ryan Kesler will be back sooner than later,
“His spot isn’t going to be vacant for a long period of time,” Gillis said. “Ryan’s had a really good three weeks, although you never have a definite time table on these things. He’s a competitor and I know he wants to play.”
