Injury Notes: Sbisa, Fasth, Harding, Clowe, Volchenkov, Salvador, Reaves, Datsyuk and Alfredsson
  • Eric Stephens: Ducks defenseman Luca Sbisa will be out six to eight weeks with a torn tendon in his right hand. Goalie Viktor Fasth will be out three to four weeks with lower-body muscle inflammation.
  • NHL on TSN: Wild goalie Josh Harding stepped on a puck during warm-ups and was not able to play. Michael Russo: Harding few with the team to the St. Louis. If the injury was serious, he would have flown back to Minnesota.
  • Tom Gulitti: Devils GM Lou Lamoriello said that Ryane Clowe, out with a concussion, started skating this week. Anton Volchenkov (leg muscle) has started skating as well. Defenseman Bryce Salvador (foot stress fracture) has not started to skate. Lamoriello will have a better update on Monday.
  • Andy Strickland: Blues Ryan Reaves has a broken hand and is out for four weeks. He broke it in a fight with Stars Brenden Dillon.
  • Ansar Khan: The Wings are being cautious with Pavel Datsyuk in case he has a concussion. GM Ken Holland said that Daniel Alfredsson would replace Datsyuk in the lineup today. Alfredsson has missed the past five games with a groin issue. Jakub Kindl (hip) is traveling with the team and is expected to play. Todd Bertuzzi (upper-body) will not play today.
