  • Jimmy Murphy via twitter: Zdeno Chara said there is nothing new to report on his possible contract extension, felt the Kovalchuk stalled negotiations. Joe Haggerty via twitter also noted that Chara said the NHL and NHLPA negotiations put a pause on his negotiations.
