The Toronto Maple Leafs trade Joe Colborne to the Calgary Flames for a conditional 2014 4th round draft pick. The pick becomes a 3rd rounder if certain conditions are met.
Colborne was originally drafted by the Bruins, 16th overall in the 1st round of the 2008 draft and came to the Leafs in the Tomas Kaberle trade deadline deal.
He would have had to go through waivers if the Leafs were to reassign him.
