Darren Dreger: NHLPAs Mathieu Schneider said that the players are not interested in playing longer games. They would like to less games ending in a shootout. NHLPA would like more testing on the long change during OT or any other ways to encourage the game ending during regulation. NHLPA would also like to have more interference be allowed in attempt to slow the game down a bit. Also, removing the trapezoid to relieve pressure on the defenseman.
