They have also looked at bringing in a goalie, and have inquired about Ryan Miller. The Wild and Blues are also showing interest in Miller. Steve Ott may also be a player the Capitals are looking at.
Adam Vingan of NBC Washington: If Evgeny Kuznetsov decides to join the Capitals, he’ll carry a $900,000 salary cap hit. His current KHL sits in eight place with four games to go, and would face the top seed. Seven game Quarterfinals would run from March 8th to 18th, Semifinals: March 21st to 31st, Final: April 3rd to 15th and League Championship: April 18th to 30th.
