  • Joe Haggerty of CSNNE: The Bruins signed David Krejci to a six-year, $43.5 million contract. Salary breakdown: $7.25 million, $7.25 million, $7.5 million, $7.5 million, $7 million and $7 million. The deal carries a no-movement clause for the first four years and a limited no-trade clause in the final two years. The Bruins now have 11 players signed for next season at $54 million.
  • Chris Johnston: The Bruins currently will have six UFA for next offseason, plus current unsigned RFAs in Torey Krug and Reilly Smith.
  • Steve Gorten: The Panthers have signed 1st overall pick Aaron Ekblad to the three-year entry level contract.
  • Renaud Lavoie: The Avalanche signed Tomas Vincour to a one-year, $600,000 two-way contract.
  • Luke DeCock: The Hurricanes added Joe Nieuwendyk as a pro scout.
  • Chris Kuc: The Blackhawks added to their pro scouting staff: Wade Brookbank, Mike Grier, Mike Mottau and Derek Booth.
