Joe Haggerty: Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask (concussion) was able to fully participate in practice yesterday.

There is “a good chance” that he’ll be able to start tonight.

Joe Haggerty: Rask had spent some of their bye week recovering in the Caribbean: “The good thing about it is that we had the break for five days, so you’re lying under the sun and feeling a whole lot of nothing.”

Jenner not traveling

Jeff Svoboda: Columbus Blue Jackets forward Boone Jenner didn’t travel with the team to Winnipeg.

Dickinson suffers a lower-body injury

Mark Stepneski: Dallas Stars forward Jason Dickinson has a lower-body injury. Coach Jim Montgomery said it’s believed to be minor and they’ll know more today.

Rasmussen to the AHL for conditioning

Ansar Khan: Detroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen has been out since January 4th with a hamstring injury. He has been assigned to the AHL on a conditioning stint.

Ansar Khan: Rasmussen is eligible to play three AHL games before he’s required to apply for an extension.

Vatanen out with a concussion

Mike Morreale: New Jersey Devils defenseman Sami Vatanen is out with a concussion. There is no timetable for when he could return.

Forward Taylor Hall did some off-ice work but did not skate.

Chris Ryan: Also not on the ice for the Devils yesterday were Ben Lovejoy, Stefan Noesen and Joey Anderson.

Brassard has an upper-body injury

Dan Kingerski: Pittsburgh Penguins forward Derick Brassard missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

Renaud Lavoie: Brassard wasn’t on the yesterday morning for practice. He’s listed as day-to-day.
