On the Pittsburgh Penguins …

Pens Inside Scoop: Coach Mike Sullivan said that Patric Hornqvist is out day-to-day with a concussion. Chris Kunitz is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

On the New York Rangers …

Steve Zipay: Pavel Buchnevich (back) will likely skate this morning, but not play.

Steve Zipay: Chris Kreider said that he aggravated something in his neck, but it’s fine. He will manage the issue and will ease into training.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Eric Stephens: Defenseman Clayton Stoner missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury and is day-to-day.

On the Ottawa Senators …

Ian Mendes: Coach Guy Boucher said that Mike Hoffman is day-to-day after being injured in their game against the Flyers.

Don Brennan: The Sens will update Bobby Ryan‘s status in the next few days. He left their game early and wasn’t able to come back.

On the Colorado Avalanche …

Terry Frei of the Denver Post: Matt Duchene is close to returning from his concussion. He’s been skating with the main group. Gabriel Landeskog could rejoin the team during their three game road trip.

On the Arizona Coyotes …

Craig Morgan: Forward Brad Richardson suffered a lower-body injury. He was taken off on a stretcher and taken to hospital for further evaluation.

Craig Morgan: They had Richardson’s right leg bent and elevated when taken off.

Iain MacIntyre: Richardson tried to duck a hit from the 265 pound Nikita Tryamkin. Looked like his right leg/hip bucked.

Dave Vest: Coach Dave Tippett on Brad Richardson: “We’ll get a full report tomorrow but we’re looking at a pretty significant injury.”
