NHL injury updates

Calgary Flames: Flames forward Andrew Mangiapane missed last night’s game and is listed as day-to-day.

George Richards: Florida Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov left last night’s game in the first period with an upper-body injury,

Dane Mizutani: Not skating for the Minnesota Wild yesterday included Victor Rask, Joel Eriksson Ek, and Mats Zuccarello.

  • Sarah McLellan: Eriksson Ek will be out for one to two weeks. Rask could start skating on Monday.

Brooks Bratten: Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg missed last night’s game with a lower-body and is still day-to-day.

Andy Graziano: The New York Islanders put forward Jordan Eberle on the IR retroactive to October 12th.

Matt Vensel: Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Brian Dumoulin was a late scratch and was replaced by Jack Johnson. Dumoulin had been out for their pregame warmups.

Leafs PR: Toronto Maple Leafs forward Andreas Johnsson left last night’s game with a leg injury.

  • Luke Fox: Johnsson’s x-rays were negative according to coach Mike Babcock. He’ll likely miss practice today.

Ken Wiebe: Winnipeg Jets coach Paul Maurice said that defenseman Anthony Bitetto is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. He’s been put on the IR.

Forward Mark Letestu has been put on the IR with an undisclosed injury. He’ll go through some more testing at the end of October,
