The Anaheim Ducks have lost Kevin Bieksa with a hand injury

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Eric Stephens of the OC Register: Defenseman Kevin Bieksa will miss the remainder of their road trip with a hand injury. Bieksa injured his hand in a fight with Radko Gudas, but it’s not his punching hand.

Coach Randy Carlyle said that Bieksa “will be out for an extended period of time.”

Bieksa’s injured hand was the one he used to brace himself as he’s falling on top of Gudas.

On the Arizona Coyotes …

Craig Morgan: Goaltender Antti Raanta said that after a couple of more practices he’d be ready to get back in the lineup.

On the Los Angeles Kings …

Russian Prospects: Nikolai Prokhorkin is under contract in the KHL until 2019. Prokhorkin told Igor Eronko that he still plans on trying to play in the NHL.

John Hoven: The Kings sent Justin Auger to the AHL and recalled Michael Amadio.

On the Minnesota Wild …

Michael Russo: Forward Nino Niederreiter is expecting to fully practice today and is hopeful to get back into the lineup on Tuesday.

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Vancouver Canucks: Coach Travis Green said that both Loui Eriksson and Alex Edler skated yesterday morning and that there is no change to their four to six weeks timeline.

Rick Dhaliwal: The Canucks and prospect Kole Lind’s camp have started contract talks.

Rick Dhaliwal: The Canucks send Brendan Gaunce to the AHL on a conditioning stint.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Ted Wyman: Adam Lowry practiced yesterday in a no-contact jersey.
