Some impressive goal scorning numbers for Laine

Mike McIntyre: “Patrik Laine‘s 2 goals tonight give him 18 in November — the most by any NHL player in any month since Pavel Bure scored 19 in March 1994. His 18 goals also ties an all-time NHL record for November, also done by Wayne Gretzky and Mike Bossy.”

NHL Public Relations: “Patrik Laine (20 years, 224 days) of the @NHLJets is the fourth-youngest player in NHL history to score 100 career regular-season goals.

The youngest: Wayne Gretzky (20 years, 40 days) Jimmy Carson (20 years, 116 days) Brian Bellows (20 years, 179 days)”

Tom Gulitti: “We’re talking about how many goals Laine has scored this month because it’s so impressive (18), but it’s really about the last 11 days. He’s scored 13 goals since last Monday.”
