Chris Wescott: Defenseman Andrej Sekera was back on the ice with teammates yesterday for the first time since he tore his ACL in the second round of last year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.
“It feels good to be out there with the guys and getting used to the rhythm again, passing, shooting wise,” said Sekera. “It’s better with someone on the ice other than just the trainers.”
He had been skating on his own and with trainers leading up to Friday. It will be at least a couple more weeks before he’ll be cleared for contact.
