On the Arizona Coyotes …

Craig Morgan: Goaltender Antti Raanta missed his start last night as he got into a car accident before the game and it shook him up. He is okay.

Craig Morgan: Defenseman Jason Demers is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

On the Colorado Avalanche …

Colorado Avalanche: Forward Nathan MacKinnon will be out for two to four weeks.

On the Dallas Stars …

Mike Heika: Forward Antoine Roussel missed his second consecutive game with a sinus infection.

On the Los Angeles Kings …

John Hoven: Goaltender Jonathan Quick has been activated from the IR and Jack Campbell has been reassigned to the AHL.

Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider: Defenseman Alec Martinez left last night’s game in the second period with a lower-body injury.

On the Minnesota Wild …

Sarah McLellan of the Star-Tribune: Forward Nino Niederreiter is expected to return to the lineup tonight unless something changes today. He’s been out for the past eight games with a left ankle bone bruise. Niederreiter skated with Eric Stall and Tyler Ennis at practice yesterday.

On the Nashville Predators …

Nashville Preds PR: The Predators activate forward Filip Forsberg from the IR.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Ken Wiebe: Coach Paul Maurice said that they expect defenseman Dmitry Kulikov to return to the lineup on Saturday.

Ken Wiebe: Maurice said that goaltender Steve Mason skated yesterday for the first time since he suffered his concussion.

Ken Wiebe: Maurice added that there will be multiple days of light skating ahead for Mason.
