The New York Islanders have traded Thomas Vanek and a conditional 2014 5th round pick to the Montreal Canadiens for a conditaional 2014 2nd round pick and and Sebastien Collberg.
The condition on the picks is that if the Canadiens miss the playoffs, no picks are sent to the Islanders.
