The Edmonton Oilers have traded winger Ales Hemsky to the Ottawa Senators for a 2014 5th round pick and a 2015 3rd round pick. The Oilers will also retain some salary.
The 30-year old is a pending UFA with a $5 million salary cap hit. Hemsky was drafted 13th overall in the 2001 draft by the Oilers.
