  • Bob McKenzie: If the Blackhawks win today, the Stanley Cup Final starts on Wednesday. If the Kings win, the Final will start next Saturday in either Boston or Chicago. The Final can’t start in LA.
  • EJ Hradek: Penguins GM Ray Shero will now have many questions to answer about the Penguins future. From coaching to goaltending to free agents.
  • Darren Dreger: Dreger can’t see Dan Bylsma’s job with the Penguins being in jeopardy. Teams looking for a head coach are paying attention.
  • Eric Macramalla: In the new CBA, you can’t compliance buyout a player who signed after September 15th 2012.
  • Daren Millard: Dallas Eakins met with the Canucks for the second time. There is no timetable on a Canucks decision.
  • Bill Waters: Paul Maurice has had three interviews: Canucks, Lightning and Oilers.
  • Adrian Dater of the Denver Post: Avalanche prospect, Joey Hishon, who has been battling concussions the past couple years, said he’s doing “great.” He missed almost two full years with a concussion, and suffered another one late this season. He should be ready for training camp.
