Eric Stephens: Anaheim Ducks head coach Dallas Eakins said that forward Sam Steel is dealing with a lower-body injury. Steel has been off the ice for the past couple days.

Marisa Ingemi: Boston Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy doesn’t think David Krejci‘s injury is serious. They’ll know more today.

Stu Cowan: Montreal Canadiens coach Claude Julien on if goaltender Carey Price suffered his bruised left hand at practice yesterday.

“It doesn’t matter when it happened, guys. All it is is a bruised hand and when he went to see the doctor the doctor said for precautionary reasons we’re going to keep him out for a few days. So that’s all it is. So we should see him back on the ice hopefully before the end of this week.”

Andrew Gross: New York Islanders forward Cal Clutterbuck when through and passed concussion protocol.

Philadelphia Flyers: Forward Morgan Frost will be out for five to seven days with a groin strain.
