The Buffalo Sabres have traded defenseman TJ Brennan to the Florida Panthers for a 2013 5th round pick.
Steve Goldstein via twitter: The 5th round pick previously belonged to LA Kings and was acquired for Keaton Ellerby.
Brennan was a 2nd round pick of the Sabres, 31st overall in the 2007 draft. The 23-year old Brennan carries a $550,000 cap hit and will be a RFA at the end of the season.
