  • Bob McKenzie: First walk through lines for Team Canada: Couture-Tavares-Stamkos; E Staal-Toews-Nash; St. Louis-Richards-Carter; Ladd-Getzlaf-Perry.
  • Dan Rosen: First walk through defensive pairings: Staal-Doughty, Phaneuf-Seabrook, Bouwmeester-Subban, and a rotation with Pietrangelo, Hamonic and Hamhuis.
  • Mark Spector: Second walk through lines: Sharp-Crosby-Kumitz. Marchand-Bergeron-Eberle. Lucic-Duchene-Neal. Hall-J. Stall and a U of Calgary fill-in.
  • Bob McKenzie: “Couple of things to keep in mind: who plays LD and who plays RD. This coaching staff wants at least 3 LD, maybe 4. Your LD possibilities: Keith, JBo, M Staal, Vlasic, Hamhuis, Methot, Phaneuf, Alzner. Your RD possibilities are: Doughty, Weber, Petro, Subban, Letang, Boyle, Seabrook, Hamonic, Green. Finally, 8 D will be named to final roster but only 7 will actually dress in a game.”
