The Buffalo Sabres have traded defenseman Jordan Leopold to the St. Louis Blues for a 2013 2nd round pick and a conditional 5th round pick.
If the Blues win one playoff round this year, the 5th round pick becomes a 4th round pick.
Leopold was drafted by the Ducks in 1999, 44th overall in the second round. He carries a $3 million cap hit.
