Pat Steinberg: Flames coach Bill Peters did say that “there’s a chance” Rittich is able to go tonight. Peters: “We’ll see how he responds to treatment here. If everything goes well, then he’s an option for tomorrow.”

Stars lose Honka and Benn last night

Sharks lose two defensemen last night

Paul Gackle: San Jose Sharks Radim Simek is out with a concussion after being hit by Flames Sam Bennett on Monday. There is no timetable for Simek.

Kevin Kurz of The Athletic: Sharks defensemen Justin Braun and Marc-Edouard Vlasic were both not able to finish last night’s game.

Braun was hurt in the first period and tried to come back in the second but had to leave.

“It was too sore to really (play). I guess I’ll get it looked at (Thursday),” Braun said. “Knee just kind of shifted a bit, but everything seems intact. Hopefully just a couple days (out) and back at it.”

Vlasic was hurt in the third period after he fell over teammate Barclay Goodrow.

Leivo has an upper-body issue

Patrick Johnston: Vancouver Canucks forward Josh Leivo has an upper-body issue and was looking “very, very stiff” walking around after the game.
