Michael Russo of the Star-Tribune: The Wild have traded Eric Nystrom to the Dallas Stars for future considerations.
The Wild needed at least a $1.2 million contract to keep them above the salary floor when Adam Pardy comes off the IR. Nystrom carries a $1.4 million cap hit this year and next.
