The St. Louis Blues are the 2019 Stanley Cup Champions.

Dan Rosen: The Blues are the first team in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup after being in last place in the league after at least 30 games played.

Pierre LeBrun: Ryan O’Reilly was awarded the 2019 Conn Smythe Trophy.

Pierre LeBrun: O’Reilly had been playing since round two against the Stars with a cracked rib.

Pierre LeBrun: The Blues went 10-3 on the road during the playoffs – Winnipeg, San Jose and Boston are not easy buildings to win in.

Lou Korac: Goaltender Jordan Binnington is the first rookie goalie in NHL history to win 16 games in one playoff season.

John Shannon: The Blues are the seventh team to make a coaching change in season and then win the Stanley Cup.

He spent most of the season in the AHL before the Blues recalled him so he could get better medical coverage for his son who is autistic.
